This tutorial demonstrates two solutions for accessing WiFi at home on a school iPad.

At Henderson Junior High, 7th and 8th graders are responsible for bringing their school iPads home to charge each night. There will be times when it will be necessary for students to complete homework or assignments that will require the iPads to connect to the District’s filter while at home. If you attempt to access Google Classroom or other web-based sites while at home on a school iPad, you may receive an error message like this one. If you do receive an error message, you need to go to a browser such as Safari or Chrome and search something, like the word “dog”. Anything to trigger the pop up of the login in for Content Keeper. Use your student district credentials to login in. For example, s.firstname.lastname@sville.us and then your password. You will then be able to connect to the internet. If this first attempt does not work, another way to connect is to go to Settings. Click General. On the right side, scroll down to the bottom and select Reset. Click Reset Network Settings. Then, you will have to reconnect to your home WiFi. Either of these two steps should solve your issues regarding connecting to WiFi from home on a school iPad.
